Scholarships for Minorities Students Application Of 2023 Details

Scholarships for Minorities: The Ministry of Minority Affairs has provided data on the number of beneficiaries covered under its three scholarship schemes, namely the Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme, Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, and Merit-cum-Means based Scholarship Scheme, since 2012-13.

All these schemes, except for MANF, are open to candidates of all communities, including minorities. However, only the MANF Scheme captures data on fellowship distribution among minority students.

The Government offers fellowships for higher education through various schemes, including the Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) Scheme, which is implemented by different Ministries/Departments. Visit the NSP official portal for registration.

The MANF Scheme is implemented by the University Grants Commission (UGC). According to data provided by the UGC, 6722 candidates were selected under the scheme between 2014-15 and 2021-22, and fellowships worth ₹ 738.85 crore were distributed during the same period.
