TSRTC Bus Pass – Online Application Process, Eligibility, and Price.

TSRTC Bus Pass: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has launched a facility to apply for bus passes online. 

All students, employees, physically disabled persons, journalists, Members of the Legislative Assembly, Members of Parliament, and spouses of Members of the Legislative Assembly can apply for this form. 

The objective of this scheme is to make travel affordable and accessible to the citizens of Telangana. Through Telangana Road Transport, anyone can apply, track, and print their bus pass. 

In this article, we will discuss the TSRTC bus pass application process, eligibility, and price.

Types of Telangana Bus Pass

The Telangana State Transport Service provides various services to meet individual needs in different sections. Telangana residents can apply for Telangana State Transport Services passes according to their own category.

 The following are the details of bus passes issued to various categories

1. Student Free Bus Passes:

• Students below 12 years bus pass (Academic year) 
• Girl students upto X class and below 18 years bus pass (Academic year).

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for the TSRTC Bus Pass Online

Telangana government is encouraging every resident who uses public transport of Telangana state to become a beneficiary of this scheme.

The eligibility criteria to apply online for a Telangana state bus pass are listed below.

• Applicants should hold a domicile in Telangana.
• Students with recognized institutions of Telangana state are eligible.
• Patients who regularly visit for hospital check-ups can also apply.
• Journalists and others who are aggregated by the department can apply for the pass.

How to Apply for TSRTC Bus Pass Online?

Follow the following process to apply for a bus pass on the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation portal given below: 

• Visit the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation official website, i.e., https://online.tsrtcpass.in/.
• From the home page click on the apply in the district box.
• In the new tab bus, the pass category will open.
• Now click on the apply located under the category the applicant is going to apply.
• The application form will open in the new tab.
• Enter valid details asked in the application form.
• Now upload the scanned documents.
• Click on the next button.
• The online payment page will open.
• Pay the price of the bus pass using an online payment method.
• Download the application and print the bus pass. 

Documents Required:

All applicants should submit the following required data along with a scanned Adhar card copy in the online registration form:

A. Student Passes

6th to 10th class students:

Name, date of birth, mobile number, residential address, school details, mode of payment, route details and pass collection centre etc.

10th class and above students:

SSC board type, SSC regular/supplementary, SSC year of passing, SSC hall ticket no., date of birth, name, mobile number, residential address, institute details, mode of payment, route details and pass collection centre etc.

B. Journalists

Name, accreditation card number, issuing DPRO, validity of the card, type of journalist pass eligible (District or State), mobile number, office address, residential address and pass collection centre etc.

C. Dialysis Patients

He /she is required to fill in his/her WAP number and member serial number. The patient’s details, i.e., name, age, gender and photograph, will be displayed.

The patient has to input his/her mobile number and email ID optionally, present residential details like Erstwhile district, Mandal, village, address, PIN etc., and the application has to be submitted.

D. General Commuters

Name, date of birth, mobile number, residential address, mode of payment, route details and Pass Collection Centre etc.

The following people require documents such as ID proof, residential address, mode of payment, route details and Pass Collection Centre etc.

MLAs, MPs and their spouses, Freedom fighters, Police officers, NGOs

The current bus pass fares structure is listed below:

• Student bus pass- Rs. 495
• For NGO ordinary – Rs. 320
• For NGO metro express- Rs. 450 
• Airport Pushpak Bus-Rs. 2625
• Ordinary Rs.700 changed to Rs.915
• Metro express Rs.818 changed to Rs 1017
• Metro deluxe Rs.998 changed to Rs 1180 

General terms and conditions For TSRTC Bus Pass:

• Application form must be submitted online.
• No manual submission, except for free passes
• Photo size must be less than 100kb in Jpeg format only.
• Registration numbers generated after submission will be documented for future reference.
• Passes will be allocated based on registration numbers only.
• Pass activation date can’t be changed after submitting the application
• For Road Transport Corporation employee children, it is mandatory to produce an employee ID card and regional employee declaration certificate by the concerned unit officer.

• Enter valid details and log in.
• Choose your pass category.
• Choose update details, and a new page will be displayed
• Or else select track application on the home

How to Pay Online for a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation Bus Pass?

• Payment can be done using credit/ debit/rupay card/net banking
• You have to pay levy a service charge of 2.5 on the total fare
• In case of a failed transaction Payment Gateway Service fee will not be refunded.

• Click on the renewal option
• Fill in the valid information
• Submit it

• A homepage with links and services will be displayed.
• Now click on the print option under the service bus.
• Enter the required details like application number and other information.
• Click on the submit button.
• On the screen, the bus pass will open.
• Click on download or the direct print option available.
