 MahaDBT stands for Maharashtra Direct Benefit Transfer (dbt maharashtra), is an initiative taken by the government of Maharashtra to motivate students from economically backward classes to pursue higher education after their 10th or 12th.

The Maha DBT web portal is a platform that has details and information about all the scholarships that the state has to offer and also guides the students on how to apply for the said scholarships.

Students who have passed their Metric exams can benefit from the various schemes and scholarships that are provided by the government.

What are the Different Categories and How Many Scholarship do they Provide?

There are 14 different categories under which students can apply for their scholarship. All together the state provides over 50 scholarships to students belonging to the economically backward classes. The scholarships provided by different departments are:
