 MahaDBT stands for Maharashtra Direct Benefit Transfer (dbt maharashtra), is an initiative taken by the government of Maharashtra to motivate students from economically backward classes to pursue higher education after their 10th or 12th.

The Maha DBT web portal is a platform that has details and information about all the scholarships that the state has to offer and also guides the students on how to apply for the said scholarships.

Students who have passed their Metric exams can benefit from the various schemes and scholarships that are provided by the government.

What are the Different Categories and How Many Scholarship do they Provide?

There are 14 different categories under which students can apply for their scholarship. All together the state provides over 50 scholarships to students belonging to the economically backward classes. The scholarships provided by different departments are:

  • Visit the Maha DBT Portal i.e. https://mahadbtmahait.gov.in/.
  • Click on the Scheme one want to apply for.
  • Make the mahadbt student login.
  • Now Click on the Application Form mahadbt login.
  • Enter all the details asked in the Application Form.
  • Upload the Scheme Document.
  • Click on Submit Application.
  • Take the Hard copy of the Application Form.

    Ans – No. you don’t have to give any exam for the scholarship, it is given based on your previous year’s report card

  • Q. What is the age criteria for the MAHADBT scholarship registration?

    Ans – There is no age criteria as such. The candidate however should have passed his/her merit exam.

  • Q. What is the last day of application for the MAHADBT scholarship for 2022?

    Ans – For the applications of year 2022-23, the scholarship form last date is 31st January.

  • Q. Is there an application fee that I need to pay?

    Ans – No. there is no application or registration fee that you are required to pay.
